The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently introduced a fresh logo at the Global Professional Accountants Convention (GloPAC), symbolizing the profession’s commitment to nation-building. In a press conference held in Ahmedabad, ICAI unveiled this emblem during insights about the upcoming GloPAC event from November 24th to 26th, 2023. Themed “Connecting the Globe, Creating Value,” the convention, to be hosted at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, aims to epitomize Indian values while embodying ICAI’s core principles of excellence, independence, and integrity.
Following the success of the 21st World Congress of Accountants in 2022, ICAI’s GloPAC aims to create a comparable global event. This inaugural convention seeks to foster global connectivity within the accounting community, ensuring professionals are attuned to the constantly evolving global landscape.
GloPAC endeavours to unite leaders, policymakers, industry representatives, and financial institutions worldwide, fostering discussions on current and future trends in the accounting field. Positioned as a ‘Window to the Future,’ the convention aims to prepare professionals for unseen economic and regulatory shifts.
This platform facilitates the exchange of ideas among leaders, offering a roadmap for the development of professional accountants. The introduction of the new logo adds a fresh zeal to the spirit of the chartered accountancy profession, signifying a renewed passion for its evolution.
